Fire Hose Market Size Projected to Reach $904.87 million by 2034 | 5.8%

23 Jul, 2026

According to Straits Research the global fire hose market was valued at $544.77 million in 2025 and is anticipated to grow from $576.37 million in 2026 to $904.87 million by 2034, registering a CAGR of 5.8% during the forecast period 2026–2034.

In emerging economies, the ever-growing population and large-scale migration to urban cities propel the construction of residential buildings. Rising government spending to provide a greater standard of living has surged the residential constructions across nations. In 2018, Beijing unveiled a total of 300 construction projects, including 100 infrastructure projects, 100 projects for the improvement of people’s livelihood, and 100 projects for industries.

Global estimates in the UN’s World Migration Report 2020 indicate that there were around 272 million international migrants in the world in 2019, which is roughly about 3.5% of the global population. Favorable government policies, increasing consumer disposable income, and desire for higher standards of living provide an impetus to the market growth.

Emerging economies are noting a surge in the construction of commercial spaces, such as malls, hypermarkets, supermarkets, office buildings, and multiplexes, further driving the demand for firefighting equipment to comply with government regulations. Between 2013 and 2017, the U.S. local fire departments responded to an average of 3,840 fires in structures under construction and over 2,500 fires in structures undergoing renovations per year.

Advances in Fire Hose Materials

The materials used to make fire hoses have changed drastically over time, and changing market trends and evolving consumer needs have transformed fire hose manufacturing globally. Key market players are focusing on innovation to develop fire hoses that are lighter, stronger, and low-maintenance.

Since the development of the circle loom in the fire hose market, there is a need for flexible, highly tensile, and lightweight yarns, and the use of synthetic rubber for fire hoses has created challenges such as frequent wear and tear. To address this challenge, players are investing in R&D activities to increase the abrasion resistance of synthetic rubber. They are also searching for new materials that promise enhanced durability and flexibility in fire hoses. Many companies provide custom fire hoses as per customer needs, and the grading and mixing of several materials to create these custom hoses are creating growth opportunities for the fire hose market globally.
