Until June 2023, the aircraft will receive MRO services at the Safran Landing Systems MRO facility in Gloucester, UK. The warranty covers 68 of its A320 fleet's landing gears overhaul and maintenance. As of July 2020, British Airways (BA) had 247 aircraft in service and 57 aircraft on order. The airline announced in July 2020 that it would replace the final two Boeing 747-400s with Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft. The airline has postponed the delivery of 68 new aircraft, including 11 long-haul and 57 short-haul models. The airline runs a self-contained MRO facility in the UK that can perform D-checks on B747 and B777 aircraft as well as periodic and scheduled maintenance on A318, A319, A320, A321 and A380, B737, B767, and B787 aircraft. The facility also maintains the landing gear for British Airways.
